You're not missing much. Maybe the top end shhhhh of cymbals, not much else.

But it's that Shhhh of the cymbals that makes the highs sound like they hang in the air !!! Which I really Like !

I remember inviting someone over to listen to my Altecs back in the 70's.

When he heard the cymbals he asked "What's that?" apparently he never heard them on his speakers.
